Signature Programs

Boyd occasionally instructs through outfitters and well-known paddling schools as a guest instructor. These trips are typically a week long and include all lodging, meals, and logistics. Each is unique and they tend to fill up fast.

Big Water Confidence Week

6/7-14/25, 6/21-28/25

Boyd has partnered up with Wilderness Tours for a week of big water, big waves, and big fun. If you're at least an intermediate kayaker, comfortable on class III, and have a solid roll, then Big Water Confidence Week is for you. In 2025, Boyd will offer two weeks, one for intermediate paddlers and one for more advanced paddlers.

Advanced Creeking Instruction in Chile

Boyd has partnered up with Pucon Kayak Retreat to offer advanced kayaking instruction and guiding on some of the most pristine whitewater in the world. Chile is known for crystal clear water, numerous waterfalls, and predictable water levels. It's the perfect training ground for stepping up to bigger things.

Boyd has partnered up with Lucas Varas of Team Liquid Logic for a week of vertical instruction on the most unique waterfall playground in the world. This is an advanced to expert trip with over 70 waterfalls in a week.

Boyd has partnered up with Lucas Varas of Team Liquid Logic for a week of epic creeking on some of the best whitewater Pucón has to offer. Large waterfalls, slides, and boulder gardens and world class creeking instruction.

Intermediate Creeking in Chile

Boyd has partnered up with Pucon Kayak Retreat to offer a week of intermediate kayaking instruction and guiding on some of the most pristine whitewater in the world. Chile is known for crystal clear water and predictable water levels. It's the perfect training ground for stepping up to bigger things. This is a step up trip, geared toward class III paddlers who have a consistent roll who want to build the confidence to step up to class IV creeking.
